Welcome to DMSF
For 20 years the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund (DMSF) has provided four-year high school scholarships and educational support to economically disadvantaged Chicago 8th grade students who demonstrate outstanding academic potential, leadership skills and strong character.

With support from DMSF, these deserving young people gain access to educational resources and personal development experiences that would otherwise be out of reach. The result is bright young people who are better prepared for success in college and in life.
Since our inception in 1989, DMSF has awarded more than 1,600 scholarships to help economically disadvantaged Chicago students prepare for college at 40 of the area’s finest day schools and 30 prominent boarding schools. Learn more >
